Morning,
We have just had a call from
Rutland House and Louis’s blood count has dropped again overnight by just over
1%, which isn’t what we wanted to hear, but he’s still eating and drinking.
When he went into Rutland with a count of 14% which dropped to 10% in just over
12 hours, so it seems the reduction has slowed down a bit.
His doctor has changed the
antibiotics is was on because he now has an upset tummy, which isn’t unusual to be
fair he does have a sensitive tummy anyway, plus they are giving his chicken
and sausages which he will love, but his tummy won’t!
Mr Stevan is popping in today to check on how he’s been over the weekend, they have advised they
will call us if anything changes.
I’m not quite sure how I feel
about today’s news, I guess I had built my hopes up to thinking either his
levels would have remained the same or even improved. I guess the one thing to
cling onto is that the speed of which his levels are dropping has slowed down.
What we really don’t want is for him to need another blood transfusion.
Olga is keeping his duvet warm
ready for him to come home.
Love Louis’s Mum.
