Morning Everyone Louis Mum here…
We have just had a call from Rutland House, Louis’s blood
count dropped 1% overnight which although isn’t the news we wanted to hear it
does seem to have slowed down a tiny bit, which I am taking as the drugs must
be starting to work, yes I know it’s still too early to say but it’s something
and I’m grabbing hold of it.
I should also mention how Olga is, well she’s missing her
friend and her attitude seems to have changed a little, so the things Louis use
to do she is starting to, silly things like coming in first for a cuddle,
standing next to John and flapping her ears in the early hours of the morning,
for no apparent reason! (that is one of Louis’s things the bugger). Plus you can no longer have a bath in peace, she has even taken over that!
Plus when we got home yesterday from seeing him, she set off
running round the house trying to find him, her sense of smell is more acute than
Louis’s so it was doing her head in, she kept running outside and jumping up at the gate to see if he was out there. John said when he has been taking her on
the field for her run, he can see reminders of Louis, like claw marks in the
grass where he skidded trying to get to the frisbee first, and bits of frisbee where
he’s chewed it up. I just want him to make more marks in the grass and I won’t
moan again about him flapping his ears or even the rotten smell of his trumps! We
just need him home.xx
Also he made a promise to go and see his Aunty Pam and all
his FOND friends again this year, so he is not allowed to break that promise.
Thanks to everyone who has asked about him, and a huge
thanks to everyone who has supported him.
Speak soon love Louis’s Mum.
