Wooffffffffff
everyone..
This time it’s
Olga that’s ‘been in the wars’ – still got no idea what that means but Mum
keeps telling everyone.
She ended up
going to the see the doggy doctor and he nipped her neck – he always does that!
Dad said she was a right embarrassment, he had to carry her in and she was
woofing at other dogs whilst she was up in the air in Dad’s arms! Then she sat
on the doc’s knee whilst he was trying to check her over… ohh the shame!
Anyway how
did she end up there I bet your thinking – well – we had taken Dad out for his
morning run on My field, and we were chasing the furries off, Olga was being
her normal pain in the behind and wasn’t following my orders to clear in a certain
way. She set off running alongside the big metal fence really fast, head down
bum up full pelt.
Unfortunately
at the same time one of her so called friends (there’re not really they just
tease her by being 1000 times quicker lol) was running along the same fence on
the opposite side. Dad could see what was going to happen and shouted Olga to
come back but she ignored him, or to be fair probably didn’t hear him – when you
get in the zone you don’t hear anything -
well that’s what I tell Dad and he’s bought it up to now lol sssshhhhh
don’t tell him.
Anyway Olga
and this little whippet dog reached the corner at the same time - BANG!! – they
collided – Olga went spinning round but the little whippet flew up into the air
and landed hard on the grass! Me and Dad ran over and Olga jumped up and looked
a little dazed for a second but seemed ok, however the poor little whippet just
lay there.. Dad ran up to her and bent down and stroked her head, but she didn’t
move, she didn’t even try to get up L her
eyes were open and she looked at us for help.
Dad told me
to go and fetch the whippet’s owner so I ran up barking and trying to get her
to follow me, she had 4 other whippets with her so I told them their sister has
been hurt and they needed to bring their Mum with them quickly!
I ran back to
Dad and he was stroking the little dogs head, Olga was skipping about wanting
to play, so I had to shout at her and tell her to behave and I also said she
hadn’t even said sorry to her friend! She said “she’s not a friend! - she’s a
pain” I said that wasn’t very nice and she should go and at least see how she
was!
One of the
other regulars came on the field to help and Dad asked them to keep hold of
Olga whilst Dad carried the little whippet to her Mum’s car, I went with Dad
and we made sure she was as comfortable as possible, as Dad carried her she
tried to bite him! – well not really bite more mouthed his hand, I gave her a
little grumble and told her not to be so ungrateful!
Her Mum said
she was taking her straight to their doggy docs, which happened to be the same
as ours! We walked back to get Olga and she was sat nicely with the lady and
her dog, getting stroked and treats!
Dad bent down
and stroked Olga and asked if she was ok, - well you should have seen the show
she put on – I’m sure she would have been in the running for the best actress
award ever! She started to cry and lift her back leg up, and then she started
hopping about not putting her foot down, I could see Dad was getting worried so
I shouted at Olga. I told her it wasn’t fair on Dad and if she really was hurt
we wouldn’t believe her because she always fakes!
I remember
Mum telling me off for trying this, she said something like “The Louis who
cried wolf” – I’m sure she knows I’m not a wolf?
Anyway I said
to Olga – “Stop crying like a wolf!” and I marched off. She skipped after me
asking what a wolf was, but I just ignored her.
As we got
near the car Olga sat down and gave Dad her ‘puppy dog eyes’ and started
crying, I said she was faking it, but Dad was totally took in by her and
carried her the rest of the way! I couldn’t believe was I was seeing! I shouted
after Olga saying “right well if you are hurt then it’s a trip to the neck
nipping docs for you young lady”! When we got home she had made an amazing recovery
and managed to walk all by herself into the house.
When Mum came
home she gave Olga a massive big cuddle and I lost count at the amount of
kisses she had! I went up for my share and pushed Olga out of the way – she only
went and let a cry out! –Dad said he thought she really needed to be checked
out, so Mum rang the necking nipping doggy doc and within a couple of mins they
were all getting in the car, of course Dad carried Olga! Grrrrr she is naughty.
When they got
back Mum told me she had seen the other little girl, she said she was on a drip
– not sure what that is- but she had managed to sit up and have some treats.
Mum also said Olga had to get weighed, although she wouldn’t tell me how fat
she was…
The doc
checked Olga over and said she will be a little stiff and will probably bruise so
she has to stay in over the next few days. – Ha brilliant I have Dad all to
myself on our walks, and he nipped her neck hahaha – who’s crying like a wolf
now Olga! The doc told Dad the little girl is lucky it was Olga she collided
with and not me, because I would have broken her really bad.. – how rude!
See you soon
Love Louis
