Day 6: It was
a lot deeper than I expected!
Wooffffffffff
everyone, Louis of Loch Awe reporting
heheehhehe..
It was soon
time to go home L boooooooo, Mum was packing everything
up and Dad said he would take me and Olga for one last walk – brilliant I
thought one last time to race through the woods!
Olga didn't want to come home so she decided to stay in her box and not get up, I tried to drag her out by the scruff of the neck, but she wouldn't move! Mum told her we had to go home today because other people were going to be staying in the cabin, so we had to leave. She wasn't for moving and even drank whilst led in her box! The she thought she would hide a couple of her toys thinking Mum would still be looking for them when we got back – silly girl, although it was a good idea,
her hiding place was rubbish! – her bed!! That’s the first place Mum looks for
anything missing.
Dad took us
to the first place we stopped at which was near the cabin and only short walk
down to the loch, I remember leaving a stick at the entrance so headed for that
with Olga chewing at my neck!
It was still
there so I grabbed it and ran off, Dad followed us and found Olga her own stick
and threw hers into the Loch she ran in after it, she’s a good swimmer to be
honest but of course I’m better. Dad managed to trick me and pinch my stick, I
was barking at him to give it me back, but he just laughed and then threw it
into the Loch, I ran in after it as it was only shallow – or so I thought!
- at first the water was only up to my
ankles but soon I could feel it on my belly!
My stick just kept floating away
from me, I thought I’m going to get you stick! I stood on my back legs until
the loch floor disappeared, and then I had to swim!, me swimming !! I managed
to grab my stick and turned round and made my way back to Dad, Olga was messing
about near me and kept splashing water in my eyes, she’s so naughty at times!
Dad was
laughing because I looked funny, I thought I looked like James Bond merging
from the water all graceful! Dad said I looked more like drowned rat!
I told him
that it was all Olga’s fault for splashing water in my eyes!
Olga of
course denied it – she’s such a liar!
I’m really
going to miss this place, it’s been amazing, me and Olga are travelling back
with Mum because I decided it’s too much like hard work keeping an eye on her.
See you all when we get home
Lots of love Louis and Olga xxx
