Happy Kissey Day :)

Woooooooooffff everyone, Happy Kissey Lovey day.. ok ok it’s a couple of days late but never mind..

It’s been a hectic few weeks, we've been working at a place called Penwortham and I've been on security duty again, of course Olga has been going to Nana’s (with the see through roof) getting spoilt rotten, she’s been telling me that at in the morning Nana makes her 2 slices of toast with butter and jam, AND a cup of tea, and then in the afternoon she gets 2 yummy biscuits!! I've told her she’ll end up being a fatty…

It’s been great at work, Mum has been making me a pack up and Dad has bought chips from the shop, but I've been told I’m not allowed to tell Mum..hehehe, Little John and Lee sit in Little John’s van at lunchtime and me and Dad stay in ours, I don’t know why Little John and Lee keep shouting for me through the window and when I turn to look at them, they start laughing? Every time I do Dad shouts because apparently I've been dribbling and when I look at Little John a bit of dribble falls onto my Dads chips hahahahahaha…

Mum and Dad took us out to the woods the other weekend, and it had been snowing!, this is the first time Olga has seen snow she didn't know what it was and crying because her feet were cold, the big Jessy lol, I’m allowed to run around because I’m older, but Olga had to stay next to Dad, and it was a good job as well because she almost slipped, Dad said her off road legs are not as good as mine. Her leg is getting better but she is still a bit stiff first thing in a morning, or if she’s been dead lazy and asleep all day!!

Mum’s been poorly again and spent a few hours at the human vets, she sounded all wheezy L when she came home I think they had nipped her like they do with me, because she had a tiny little hole in her hand, so I gave it a really good lick J
Olga was dancing around making a right noise so I had to tell her we have to look after Mum, and that means being quiet! Mum stayed at home with for a days and I told Dad that I’d stay at home and make sure she was ok. That meant the fire was on all day! However that also means – fire wars- Olga thinks she is in charge of watching the fire and of course that’s my job, she is only allowed to take over when I get to hot and need a break, and sometimes she forgets her place lol…

We are going to need to find more wood soon because we've been having fires all day and night – it’s been great!

Mum has been talking to Dad about ‘dognappers’ that are working in our area, she said they mark the outside people houses on the road if there is a dog living there, and then they wait until the house is empty and break in and take the dog!!!
I’d like to see them try and get in MY HOUSE! Of course I’d let them take Olga and tell Dad that they crept up on me hehehe…

Oh I nearly forgot, I almost wee’d in the car the other day laughing at Olga, we had been out for our run and Dad said he wanted to take the car for a wash, so he headed off to this place he goes to all the time. What happens is you drive in and a man sprays water on the car with a hose pipe, and then they rub the car all over, it’s a bit like when Dad tickles us, anyway, because Olga hadn't been looking where we were going she didn't notice this man rubbing the car, until he came up to her window – she went mental when she saw him and started barking like mad, she was shouting ‘Stranger Danger Louis Stranger Danger’! I said Olga Dad is sat at the front you silly girl, well by this time she was past the point of no return and wouldn't stop. In the end we had to leave the car wash and go home half done! Dad had to carry her out of the car and into the house because she was crying hahahaha, when Mum came home Olga ran to her and just wanted cuddles all night.

Our friend Roman has found his ‘forever home’ which is brilliant, and we hope he is very happy and is getting lots of cuddles.

See you soon
Love Louis and Olga xxx

I just LOVE Louis and Olga – can they be persuaded to post a bit more often, please? ☺

I am Dobie-less now, with a whole host of rescues of other breeds having come into my home since our last Dobie, Wallis, went to the Bridge in 2003. The present incumbent is a 13-year-old white Jack Russell cross – about as far from a Dobie as you can get! Still – I frequent the FOND website and hope that one day circumstances may again allow a Dobie in my life.

With best wishes to Louis and Olga and their lucky people
