Woooffffffff Everyone…..
Well I’ve been back to see Mr Stevan again today and my
friends at Rutland House, I think he wanted to see me because he was missing
me, so I had to say yes, I’ve realised he can be a bit needy at times hehehe.
When we got there, I could hear all the Not-Nicky’s in
the back so I gave them a woof, just to let them know I was there. I was
gasping for a drink as well, so I smacked my chops together and looked at the
lady behind the desk, she peered over the desk and said “Ohh Louis you’re back
I’ll get you a lovely bowl of water” – it doesn’t take long to train them
hahaha.
While we waiting to see Mr Stevan there was a little
doggie jumping around like a mad thing, apparently she had eaten a few wooden sticks
and licked a bottle of shampoo!!! Dad said he will trump bubbles hahahaha, she
looked like my friend Finn, she looked all scruffy and was jumping up at me all
the time… really annoying just like Olga!
I was glad to hear Mr Stevan call my name, he looked
really happy to see me. We went into one of the rooms, and he asked Mum and Dad
how I had been doing, whilst they were chatting I sniffed out the treats, (he
always has a jar of sausages on his desk). I heard him tell Mum and Dad that he
was going to ‘spin’ my blood and check the count. I pricked my ears up when he
said it – ‘spinning my blood’, how on earth was going to that, I didn’t fancy
being spun round it would make me dizzy. Mr Stevan said “come on Louis boy lets
go and check your blood”.
When we got into the back I was glad to see Not-Nicky,
she gave me a big cuddle and she held my paw whilst Mr Stevan took a bit of
blood from my leg, he then put it on a machine that was going to do the
spinning -phew- glad we got that sorted! Not-Nicky gave me a couple a biscuits
and I went back to be with Mum and Dad. Mr Stevan came back and said that I had
been working really hard to get better, because my blood was showing the same
count 20%, which is ok, but the better news was it appears my red blood cells
have stopped destroying themselves, and when my blood was spun the fluid that
settles at the top, was a normal clear colour, whereas when I went in last week
it was bright yellow!
Mum and Dad were really happy and I was told I was
allowed home again, I gave Dad one of my “go on ask” looks, which worked and he asked if I was
allowed to go out for a walk on my field, Mr Stevan said yes of course, but
only for a few mins because I will get tired very quickly, so it looks like
tomorrow I’m allowed to go and have a quick look round to make sure Olga hasn’t
been letting all the birds take over!
Mum asked about my medicine and Mr Stevan checked what I
had left and gave me some more, he also gave me some more sausages out of his
jar hehehe, he wants to see me next Friday – see I told you he was a little
needy hehehe..
Speak soon
Love Louis and Olga
