Day Three at Nethermill
Woofffff everyone, we are
back home now so I can carry on letting you all know what we got up
to on our holidays.
We went to explore another
part of this place today, and me and Olga took Mum and Dad to a
different beach, which is near our Nethermill one, Olga spotted it
the other day as we drove to FOND HQ and wanted to try it out, but
with her not being as clever as me she didn't know how to get Mum and
Dad to take us.... whereas I... am the expert. All it takes is a
right amount off squeaking in the car and a quick ear lick at the
right time, I can get Mum to turn the car anyway I want.... basically
I drive :) I let Mum think she's doing it, but it's really me.
So as we set off I waited
till the right moment and then set about licking Mum and squeaking,
and sure enough she turned down the road and headed to the new beach. It was a steep road down and I had to tell Olga to put her
brakes on because she was heading into the front of the car, she
hasn't got the hang of cornering yet or banking lol. Once we reached
the bottom Mum parked near the grass and Dad let us out of the back
of the car, I jumped out first, then Olga - she headed off to the sea
and I had to chase after her to make sure he behaved. Mum put her
boots on and followed Olga, Dad and me, this was a lovely place it
was smaller than our Nethermill beach but it was still nice. Dad
brought our frisbee's and threw mine into the sea, it landed just by
the water so I didn't have to get my paws wet – which is a good job
because that water was freezing! Mum threw Olga's and because she is
a rubbish thrower, Olga's went flying into the sea, and sank
hahahahaha, Olga ran in and managed to rescue it, but she didn't take
it back to Mum just incase it went back in.
We headed off down the
beach towards some rocks what happened next was .. well lets put it
this way, I had to rescue Dad from the man eating rocks!
We reached the end of the
beach and Dad was playing with Olga and Mum throwing her frisbee, Mum
threw it and was meant to aim for Dad but instead the it landed in
what looked like a mouth in the side of the mountain!
Dad walked over
to get it and when I turned round I saw him disappearing into the
mouth, I heard him shouting so I ran over and barked for the mountain
to let my Dad go, I could see his legs and I could hear him, but it
wouldn't spit him out, I barked and barked as loud as I could, and
guess what - it barked back!!
I didn't know what to do, and then
Olga came up mitering me and saying I should go in and rescue Dad –
I of course said “Ermm excuse me, I have you and Mum to look after
as well, I cannot do everything” Olga laughed at me and ran into
the mouth - “Just brilliant Olga, now you have been eaten as well!”
I took one more deep breath and barked the loudest bark I could, and
it worked, I frightened the mountain that much it spat Dad and Olga
out. I ran up to him and gave him a big kiss and told him off for
being naughty and not listening to me...
I think Dad was in a
mischievousness mood because no sooner had I rescued him from the man
eating mountain, he was then climbing up the side of it, Olga tried
to climb with him, but she kept slipping and landing in the water, I
decided I better keep an eye on Mum, just in case she went wandering
off... sometimes being me is very difficult I have to have eyes at
the back of my ears to watch these 3!
