Day 2 at Nethermill and FOND

What a day today has been, first thing this morning I went rock climbing with Dad, which was great fun although I think I might need to practice the coming down the rocks, because going up was fine, however coming down, my bum tried to overtake my head.... not good... at one point I think I saw my tail in front of me.

When we got back to our kennels I ran in to tell Mum how high I had climbed and that my bum had tried to overtake me, but she was asleep, so I stood and stared at her but she didn't wake up, it only took one cold nose to hurry her up.. hahaha... I told her what me and Dad had been doing but I don't think she was happy because she started to shout, she was going on about how I could have hurt myself, I looked at her and then looked at Dad and Mum said “was it your dad that made you climb high” .. I thought oh dear I have worried my Mum so I nodded and gave her my sad puppy eyes.... works every time....sorry Dad hahaha. That Mr reflection even tried the sad puppy eyes as well, I saw him, so I gave him a bark and walked off, he barked back, but I wasn’t scared..

We all then went to Pam's to take Nelson, Jenna and Cleo out for a stroll, I didn't realise I had to stay in the car till they came back, but it was ok, I had my new coat on so I was lovely and warm. I told Nelson when he went off that I would take over keeping an eye on the house, just in case he was worried that he was leaving his post unattended. I don't think he thought I could do a good job....but I did, because he just tutted at me...

When Mum, Dad and Pam came back with Jenna, Nelson and Cleo, they sorted the guys out then let me come in for a bit, Mum and Dad had a coffee and I had a couple of biscuits, well it's hard work all that guarding.

Dad said that me, Cleo and that naughty Lady Lou were going to the beach, I was well excited, and ran out to find a couple of sticks to take with me. We all got in the car and followed Pam, Cleo and Lady Lou, when we got there and because Lady Lou was making such a fuss Mum and Dad said we would take her and Pam could take Cleo, so off we went. Of course I beat Lady 'slow coach' Lou to the water first. Dad threw my stick for me and guess what “Lady Lou is a stick thief”! Yes you heard, she ran up and tried to steal my sticks... I was like OMG... seriously.. Lady (or not so Lady) Lou are you trying to steal MY STICKS!

Dad threw MY STICKS into the sea for me to chase, which I did, but then that Lady Lou tried to go in for them as well, but she is such a scaredy cat she only went up to her ankles hahaha... clearly not a surfer like me.... Louis 1-0 Lady Lou.

Mum had her camera out again so no doubt there will be some embarrassing photos popping up again, I think Mum likes that Lady because she kept saying how pretty she was... I can’t see it at all, I can only see a stick thief.

We had a lovely day and then I heard Mum and Dad inviting Pam and John over to my kennel for tea... so when we got back I made sure I had collected all my toys together to show Pam, it was lovely having them here with me, it was like my old family and my new family all together. I thought Lady Lou might have come with them, but phewww, thank goodness she didn't because no doubt she would have tried to steal my toys as well!.

It's my last day here tomorrow, we are not sure what we are doing, I don't want to go home, I want Mum and Dad to stay here and bring Nana (with the see through roof), and Nannie (with the sofa I can lie on), here as well. Oh and not forgetting Little John and Gaby Waby.
