Woof woof everyone.... Louis here
I just wanted to mentioned FOND (Friends of Northern Dobermanns) and what amazing work they do for us poor dobes that find ourselves without homes, mostly thorough no fault of our own.
They take us in, and heal us if needs be, and then find us safe new homes, just like Pam did for me and she also did the same for King, he lives with my Mum's uncle!! what a small world it is.
When you have a few minutes free time please can you go and have a look at their website (you'll see me and King on there) and just look at all the happy happy dobes that have been given a new chance at life.

About today...
I've just been to paradise I think its called Pets at Home it's a place that's just full of dog food and chews and toys!!! oh my goodness the toys were amazing, annnndddd they must have known I was going because they put loads of treats at nose height just for me.. I must admit I did have to open a couple of bags when Dad wasn't watching me, but I managed it and had a nibble on a couple of piggys ears...
Mum wanted to buy me another new bed, not sure why I needed another one, but hey I'm not complaining, of course I had to sit in a few different ones, "just to see what he looks like it in" she said. After sitting in a few beds, some by the way were so small I couldn't even get my bum in, we found a really big one, Mum said "this is the one". I was glad she was happy because there was a black Labrador was laughing at me and he kept saying "he won't get those gangly legs in that bed" I gave him a stare and he walked off.. I woofed to him "I don't see your Mum with any treats in her basket ha" he just looked at me and shuffled off.. he clearly knew I was the winner in that little argument, and had a better Mum and Dad than he did.
She also bought the bag of chews I'd managed to open.. which I was really please about because the piggy ears were lush..oh and she bought a whistle as well, so I guess there's no excuse not to come back now....sometimes my Mum is cleverer than she looks!!.
Dad walked me round the place and I saw a couple of dogs and said hello, and a few small humans who rubbed my ears.. Dad said I'd done really well and behaved well, and he gave me a good ear rub.
When Mum went to pay for my bed, there was a bowl of treats by the door, so I snaffled a few, the black Lab walked up hoping for a couple of treats but I made sure I grabbed the last one, he said I was just being puppyish stuffing them all in my mouth, I tried to say it was his fault but just ended up spraying the lab with crumbs... stupid dog.. I clearly won that one as well...
When we got home Mum put my Liverpool FC duvet cover on a new duvet and put it in my bed, ohhh the softness, it's lovely, and this is were I am at the moment, and I'm not getting up till its time to take my Dad out for a walk..
So snuggle buggly Louis signing off for now...
